TEACHING

Dušica Mladenović is an outstanding teacher with over 20 years of experience. She has taught violin in many public schools in Serbia such as Mokranjac, Josif Marinković , Petar Konjović and Vatroslav Lisinski. Her students have won over 70 prizes at both national and international competitions, the most important among which are Kocian Violin Competition (CZ), Moscow International Festival of Slavic Music (RUS), Festival of musical creativity in Yekaterinburg (RUS), International Competition of Young Musicians “Ohrid Pearls” (NMK), International Strings Competition (SRB), International Strings Festival “Stringfest” (SRB), Republic Competition for students of music and ballet schools in Serbia, etc.

Dušica has won many awards for Best Teacher from jury members of some of the competitions listed above. Her students have made over 50 concert appearances as soloists both with orchestras and in chamber recitals. Her most prominent ex-students are Marija Radovanović and Jana Jakovljević who are now globally-recognized young violinists.
